Digital Marketing Specialist

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist with a passion for web analytics, data visualization/dash-boarding, and developing actionable insights. This role applies a variety of methodologies and tools to measure and optimize websites, media, and SEO, understand consumer behavior, and improve customer experiences. The ideal candidate has proficiency with databases and analytic languages, digital analytics tools and tagging, and demonstrated experience organizing, analyzing, interpreting, and translating raw data into business insight and presentation content.
This role will be responsible for independently performing and delivering well-researched analytics and reports with actionable recommendations to company leaders to build brand awareness and create strategic opportunities to drive growth. It will also support internal initiatives for consistent employee experience and engagement. The Digital Marketing Specialist position within the Brand & Marketing team is also responsible for analyzing marketing & communications metrics, distilling complex ideas into easy-to-digest communications.
• Create, refine, and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance insights (Looker Studio, PowerBI, Excel, and, PowerPoint).
• Manages analytics & insights requests, QA checks, and validation with exceptional attention to detail and curiosity
• Learn and utilize data and domain knowledge to support analytics deliverables, such as sharing KPI/metric interpretation and findings.
• Presents analytics to internal stakeholders.
• Proactively track assigned deliverables and inform business partners of progress relative to project timelines.
• Bring forward new ideas, process improvements, solutions, and opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support the execution of marketing and brand initiatives internally and externally.
• Clean, sort, and create standards to analyze complex datasets further to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies.
• Develop and support training on data collection, measurement, and analysis for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Produce clear and actionable recommendations and insights to optimize brand and marketing effectiveness, efforts, and strategic objectives.
• Work with cross-functional teams and internal units to achieve business objectives and initiatives.
• Assist in managing websites, social media, other digital marketing applications, etc. as needed.
• Assists with other marketing or digital projects as they arise.
• Knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
Market Research:
• Identify research and develop methodologies for measurement and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems, including CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
• Monitor lead generation, tracking, and distribution processes, optimizing efficiency.
• Monitor internal and external engagement to ensure the effectiveness of activities/initiatives/campaigns.
• Support developing and implementing marketing automation workflows to enhance employee and client engagement.
• Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices.
Data Analysis and Insights:
• Utilize analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance.
• Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to visualize key performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Assist in defining KPIs and performance benchmarks for marketing and brand campaigns and initiatives.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of brand and marketing strategies, providing insights for continuous improvement for both current and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and outside agency to conduct A/B tests and experiments, optimizing campaign performance.
• Exceptional strategy and leadership abilities.
• Highly technical, with a can-do attitude.
• Experience and knowledge of AI.
• Self-starter who can coordinate and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Can adjust to change and refocus on priorities based on company direction.
• Outstanding aptitude for tactical thinking & execution, innovation and problem-solving.
• Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, and independent judgment is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, business, or related field
